Nutrition to make his way through the jungle

It's a jungle out there.

No, I mean "street" or am not talking about climbing the corporate ladder. I make food choices'm talking about the forest.

There are so many diets and diet plans around that it's easy to be confused. Go to any book store (or look online) and you can find hundreds if not thousands of diet plans.

Those plans have helped everyone. This is the author of a book published. But the plan can be very different from the other.

You say you are hard-core vegetarian plans to only eat meat can get ideas about diet.

And even more confusing when someone is trying to manage a health problem. There are a list of foods for headaches, bladder problems, heart problems, memory and diabetes are helping.

Like I said, it's a jungle out there.

The variety of choices that there is a "right" diet that fits everyone is not clear. And it makes sense. We have different fingerprints. And we look different. Of course we need food is unique.

The hard part is to find those unique needs.

To help the "food forest" to find your way through the few useful tips here:

1) Listen to your body

As long as humans have been around, our bodies have adapted. If we die without adapting. Before we had modern research, our bodies knew what worked and what did not.

We have a wealth of knowledge in every cell. Tune in to the resource. Learn to tap that knowledge. It will be right every time.

2) common beliefs Ignore

When someone says, "Everyone who has anything ...", thus often taken as a fact knows. The problem is that there is only a few such facts are accurate. You need to breathe. You need to drink water. If you step off a cliff you will fall. Everyone knows it.

But the facts about food are not so simple. Common beliefs about food may not apply to you.

For example, many people say eating meat is not healthy. But if all your ancestors were Eskimos, the genetically heavy for you, concrete is likely to require a large amount of protein. You can get just like meat protein.

Similarly, if your ancestors came from all the Mediterranean, then you likely will do better with more veggies and fruits.

One example is people who only eat foods to prevent a particular problem. They want to lower cholesterol. Or maybe they want to avoid blood sugar problems.

There are two problems with this approach.

Second, if you only focus on one aspect of health, you miss the dozens of others. Do you think that your health can cause problems with other parts? You bet it is!

A better approach to what your body tells you what you eat in response to pay attention. Here's what to watch. Within 1 to 2 hours after dinner to look for these signs:

Are you hungry already?
Do you get tired or over?
Increases your pain level?
Your mental focus is good or bad?
Your emotional state is good or bad?
